Legal identity and risk check for French companies. POST /v1/company with one of siren, siret or q (company or director name) in the JSON body. Every 200 has the same keys for all statuses (found, ambiguous, not_found, source_unavailable, error): legal name, SIREN/SIRET, address, NAF, state, incorporation date, officers, VAT number, dated insolvency notices, data_as_of. Branch on action_required: true iff flags is non-empty. 13 flags, listed at https://getcompanycheck.com/docs. Source statuses: ok, skipped, unavailable, rate_limited, timeout, error; any but ok or skipped sets complete to false. Officers are personal data: names and roles, 3 by default, birth year only with verbose, none with directors_limit 0. Sources: recherche-entreprises.api.gouv.fr (SIRENE, RNE), BODACC (insolvency, deregistration, conciliation), VIES (VAT). 9 s deadline: pending sources report timeout, never a 5xx.
